Ho ho home

'Tis the season to be jolly. Or merry. or goodwilly, or something. Apparently. Heh. We said willy.

For approximately one month a year - or four if the decorations in some supermarkets are to be believed - we're called upon to eat like there's no tomorrow, drink like there's no liver disease, and buy like there's likely to be a shortage of bath gel.

Sisters Meg and Anna (not in the nun sense of the word) (they're actually related) (and aren't nuns) and Brothers Cliff and Bobbie (Not related, just franciscan monks) (possibly) are here to relieve your Crimblennui (tm) and make your December just a little more spangly.

Think of it as our little gift to you. You may not have asked for it, you may not want it, but then, you could say the same for whatever Uncle Billy's going to give you this year.

Fascinating Festive Fact #5: Christmas Advent Calenders DO NOT Shut Down For The Holidays

The team at 'Tis The Season has received a frosty Santagram saying that if we do not update this site within the next twenty four hours, then we risk being put on the naughty list.

Ok, we've been slack. We be slackin'. Or to put it festively, we have been skating on very thin ice.

And his people don't mince their words:

As you are no doubt aware, Santa has the right to check if you are sleeping or awake, and when you are bad or good. Applicants must be good for the sake of goodness and under no circumstances are allowed to present claims that they saw their mothers kissing Santa Claus. Please update your site as soon as possible. Furthermore, when Mr. Christmas comes to town, you must display the following:

We mulled this over for a bit, then decided that an advent calender isn't just for Christmas, it's for... Oh.
